BANK OF NEWMAN GROVE FINANCIAL PRIVACY POLICY


Protecting our customer's privacy is important to the Bank of Newman Grove and its employees.  We want them to understand what information we collect and how we use it.  In order to provide our customers with a broad range of financial products and services as effectively and conveniently as possible, we use technology to manage and maintain customer information.  The following policy serves as a standard for all employees for collection, use, retention, and security of nonpublic personal information.

Information we receive from third parties such as credit bureaus.



"Nonpublic personal information" is nonpublic information that we may obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to our customer.  This could include information such as account balances, payment history, or overdraft history.


 

Disclosure of Account Information


We do not disclose any information you might consider to be private about you to anyone, except as permitted by law such as, reports to credit bureaus, IRS Reporting, responses to subpoenas, search warrants, and summons.


If a customer decides to close their account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.


 

Our Security Procedures


We restrict access to nonpublic personal information to those employees with a business reason to know, in order to provide products or services to our customers.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard nonpublic personal information. Our bank will not originate e-mail or phone calls asking our customer to confirm information, unless a method of authentication has been previously arranged.
